I shared my review of the Truly razor a few weeks ago (read it here), and I also bought a new item to try in hopes of having the smoothest legs for summer: Tree Hut Moisturizing Shave Oil.
I have to admit that when I bought the Truly razor, I looked at all of their shaving creams. However, a lot of the reviews on Ulta’s website said that while they were good, they were expensive for such a small amount.
So, I searched around Ulta for something a bit more affordable.
Enter: Tree Hut.
They have the BEST body scrub (and it’s only $9), so I wasn’t afraid to try the shave oil. The reviews were mixed about whether this was a true oil or more like a gel, but that didn’t bother me.
I bought the Coconut & Lime scent and used it as soon as it was delivered.
This stuff is SO GOOD.
The consistency right out of the bottle is more like a thick gel (it has a pump), but that makes it easy to apply and it doesn’t drip off your legs.
It’s $12 for about 8 ounces. One pump is enough for one leg, so the bottle will last a while.
I have really sensitive skin on my legs, which is why I’m so picky about the razor I use (I get razor burn so easily). I didn’t have any reaction when I used this, and my legs just felt so smooth!
I love the Coconut scent, but they have several others including Watermelon, Morrocan Rose, Vanilla, Tropic Glow, and unscented.
I would definitely recommend this oil, especially if you feel like a regular shave doesn’t leave your legs silky smooth.
Have you tried any kind of shave oil?
