I remember within the first few years of having my blog, someone told me I needed to host it myself. And she said it like it was life or death, like I really NEEDED to host it.
At the time, I had no idea what she was even talking about, and I don’t like change, so I thought, why would I change something that’s currently working?
Well, I still don’t host my blog and I’m fine with it. But, now that I know what it means, I understand the pros and cons of self-hosting a blog vs. paying a company to host it for me.
