No matter where you live, this summer has been HOT. As a result, I haven’t even been hanging by the pool much — it’s too hot for that!
Why lay outside in the sweltering heat when I can lay inside in the air conditioning?
That’s why I’ve been maximizing my tan time and using products that boost melanin production for a deeper tan, faster.
I’ve spoken here about the Sun Bum Natural Browning Lotion — but, I can’t believe I haven’t talked about The Fox Tan Rapid Elixer yet!
I actually bought my first bottle of the stuff during the summer we were still in lockdown. I was determined to get a tan, and when I saw these products I was intrigued.
Fox Tan has a pretty good spread of products that will help accelerate your tan, but the Rapid Elixer is their signature item.
When I’ve used this product correctly (I’ll get to this in a sec) and consistently, I have seen great results — and I’m not someone who tans easily. Instead, I burn, and I’m lucky if it turns into a tan.
Okay, using this product takes a little bit of dedication. You have to use it daily in the days leading up to sun exposure; at least 3-5 days before.
If you regularly get sun, just use it every day. When I first got the product, I was just putting it on a few days before sun and it was hit or miss. But, then I started using it every day and when I went on a week-long beach vacation, I got a great tan!
So, put the lotion on every day — or at least in the days leading up to sun exposure — and then use SPF just as you normally would.
The upside of this product is that you get hydrated skin and a great tan. The downside is, you have to be consistent with it, and you should buy the jumbo bottle 🙂
Have you ever used a tanning product like this?
