Wow, can you believe Christmas is just THREE days away?! The year always flies by and I feel like the holiday season does, too — kudos to those who start preparing in August so that by the time it actually rolls around, you can enjoy it.
I spent yesterday wrapping gifts, cleaning and getting some small DIY projects done, including putting together a bookcase that’s been in a box for a few weeks… it’s pretty big and took me three hours. Today, I feel like I’ve been hit by a bus and I need to venture out and run errands — Lord, hear my prayer.
But, in case you’re able to get a few moments to yourself over the next week, I’ve got a new review! This time, it’s the Jelly Glow Peel by Bliss. Here’s the official list of ingredients:
Pineapple & Papaya Enzymes: Act as non-abrasive, natural exfoliants to help loosen dead skin cells for easy removal // Cellulose: Plant-based fibers that ball up when they come into contact with oil on your skin, forming soft rolls and clumps. When you rub them on the skin, these tiny particles cling to the outermost dead skin cells like micro-lint rollers, rolling them away as they are rinsed.
Coconut Fruit Extract & Pro Vitamin B5: Helps seal in hydration by boosting the skin barrier while revitalizing surface skin cells // Niacinamide: Known to help dull skin achieve radiance while visibly evening skin tone. Plus, helps restore skin’s surface to prevent against moisture loss // Sodium Hyaluronate: A unique, lightweight moisturizer that holds 1000 times its weight in water.
Usually, when I think of a peel, I think of putting a gel mask on that dries and you peel it off. That’s definitely not what this is — it’s actually one of the more unique skincare products I’ve tried this year.
This is really gentle and the package says you can use it daily. It is a gel when you first squeeze it out, and then as you apply it to the skin, it starts to ball up and that’s what catches any dry or dead skin.
I can feel a difference by the time I rinse, and then I have been following it up with the Bliss Mighty Marshmallow face mask and WOW, that is a winning combination! I feel like my skin really glows after using them together.
The cool thing about Bliss is that it’s affordable (you can get it at Target) and these products aren’t filled with a bunch of junk.
I think this product would be good if you have sensitive skin or just can’t do the abrasive scrubs. Definitely worth a try!
Okay, I’ve stalled enough and probably need to venture out. Sending you all positive vibes if you’re going out today, too!
