A review: philosophy nature in a jar nourishing shower oil.

Happy Friday, y’all!

It has been a busy week for me with client work and I’m also continuing to work on my #NaNoWriMo novel — I am at 29,100 words as of last night 🙂

So, even though I have plenty of work to do today, I am happy to see the weekend be so close.

Over the last year, I have taken so many soaks in the tub. Sometimes I take them after a workout to prevent soreness, while other times I just take them as a way to relax and I either read or listen to a podcast while I soak.

As a result, I have tried and tested so many different bubble baths, bath salts, and bath oils.

I was going to discuss a specific bubble bath (the Hempz Sweet Almond Bubble Bath), but I ended up not liking it that much, and I never think it’s a good idea to write an entire blog about a product or a book I don’t like.

So, I wanted to share a bath oil I bought near the beginning of lockdown, so I’ve used it enough times to report back: it’s the Philosophy Nature in a Jar Nourishing Shower Oil.

Here’s the scoop on it:

Rich in omega fatty acids and antioxidants thanks to a luxurious blend of botanical oils, this nourishing formula seals in moisture, leaving your skin feeling soft and replenished from head to toe. While it was designed for in-shower use, you can add a couple drops to warm bath water for a relaxing treatment, too.

This is only the second or third oil that I’ve ever tried, but I really love it because you can put a few drops of it in your bath water and it really does moisturize your skin.

This particular bath oil doesn’t have much of a scent, which is good for anyone who is weird about scents or has sensitive skin. I also like adding it to my bath with other scented items, such as a bubble bath or salts.

You can also use this oil in the shower, or right after you turn off the water, but I have yet to use it in that capacity.

Overall, I think this is a great bath oil, especially if you’re into unscented, natural products.

I actually just bought a new (to me) brand of bath salts and bubble bath, so I’ll be reporting back on that soon!

Have a great weekend 🙂
