A Review: Jade & Fox Co. Quiet Storm Body Oil.

I discovered Jade & Fox Co. when I was searching for Black-owned companies to shop… and wow, they have a ton of good stuff in their online store!

While I got several items from them — I’ll review each one separately — I want to start by discussing their Quiet Storm Body Oil.

Quiet storm has a floral honeysuckle scent paired with subtle jasmine notes.

To be honest, I’m not usually big on body oil. I am always worried it’s going to be greasy and it will feel strange getting into bed or putting on clothes with this sticky feeling… but this doesn’t have that.

I have put a few drops of this oil into my bath water, which makes it smell nice, plus, it leaves my skin feeling hydrated and soft.

The bottle is pretty big, and it has a dropper in the cap. I feel like I’ve used it several times and still haven’t made a dent in the bottle. It’s $17 and definitely worth the price.

I also love the scent of this! It’s incredibly warm and smells luxurious — perfect for all year.

I also want to make a note of the Jade & Fox Co. packaging because it is beautiful and looks like it came straight from the spa. It’s all glass bottles with clear labels and black fonts. I love it!

The thing is, Jade & Fox Co. has a ton of different body oils. Some of the other ones I want to try include:

  • Lust Oil, which leaves a sheen on the skin
  • Vixen Body Oil, which has a natural SPF and a rose-woodsy scent
  • Allure Body Oil, which has a bergamont + musk scent

I think the Jade & Fox Co. site got lots of sales and traffic over the summer, because they are sold out of many products. However, you can sign up to be notified when they get new stock in.

I have definitely signed up for several notifications because I love what I’ve tried so far!

It also feels good to support a small shop over a big brand.
