Here I am, 8 hours into a 25 hour Hackathon, and I can see why this was her advice. It's good for the soul to be among people who want to create things for the better. #atx #tejas #galvanize #create #hackathon #coding #access #startupweekendI'm looking back on the Road to Marfa: recapping everything did, what I saw + how I felt 🤠See more pics #ontheblog + read all the stories at Thebitterlemon.com #linkinbio #thebitterlemon #marfa #texas #westtexas #marfalights #chihuahuadesert #roadtrip #solotrip #travel #elcosmico"She was playing hide-and-go-seek... by herself." 🙈🌈The latest read from Blanche's Book Club is #ontheblog + it's perfect for those dreaming of a true escape #linkinbio #thebitterlemon #leaveme #gayleforman #summerreading #bookstagram #bookrecommendations #blanchesbookclubFresh off dance rehearsal + @blueapron for the win: soba noodles with marinated Enoki shrooms 🍜#homemade #vegan #blueapron #sobanoodles #dinnerLast night, I got lucky with a table at Cochineal. I was so excited to try their ceviche with a glass of rose. About halfway through my meal, I felt a familiar tightness in my chest, and paranoia that everyone in the restaurant was staring at me. Eating alone. On Father's Day. I traveled far to get clarity, and I was reminded just how much you can learn about yourself when you are stripped of all the comforts of home. I calmly asked for my check and sought solace in my friends (and a breathing exercise). Anxiety is something I am actively dealing with and it sometimes seems to arrive out of nowhere, even in dusty Marfa. I don't want this moment to define my trip, but it will always be a part of my story. I'm growing, slowly. I'll write more on Marfa soon - but I didn't want it to just all seem so dreamy. It was tough, too. The ceviche? It was delicious #marfa #cochineal #ceviche #kumquat #anxiety #anxietyattack #honestyI came, I saw, and all my belongings are muddy 👁 #marfa #westtexas #herestotheroadhome #dueces
