I’m currently using Lait De Coco by Le Monde Gourmand, and I realized I haven’t mentioned this set on the blog!
I was very lucky to get the Le Monde Gourmand Coffret de Parfum Set for free one month when I was working at Ulta. Ever since, I’ve been using these mini parfums (each one is 0.23 ounces), and I love them!
The sampler set comes with 10 bottles; here are the scents and their notes included:
Pistachio Brûlée – Milky Mousse, Pistachio Crumbs, Vanilla Bean
Lait De Coco – Bergamot, Vanilla Praline, Creamy Coconut
Chai Épicé – Violet Fig, Muguet Musk, Blonde Wood
Crème Vanille – Creamy Apricot, Jasmine Petals, Brown Sugar & Amber
Miel Bébé – Juicy Mandarin & Honey Blossom, Sandalwood, Praline
000 – Italian bergamot, freesia – waterlily – creamy sandalwood
Fraise Fouettée – fresh strawberries – coconut water – whipped sugar, vanilla cream
Le Beach – Bergamot EO*, Coconut Water – Ylang Ylang, Jasmine Absolute* – Vanilla Bean Absolute*, Skin Musk, Amber
Santal Supreme – Hatian Vetiver, Sandalwood & Violet, Musk
Fleur de Blonde – Pear Blossom, Ambrette-Violet, Pink Sugar, Carrot Seed – White Amber, Cashmere Wood, Cashmere Musk
I should mention there’s another set with almost the same scents, but a few different ones; it’s called Parfum de Voyage.
I have been trying to use the scents seasonally, just for fun. In the fall, I wore Creme Vanille and Chai Epice; in the winter, Santal Supreme and Pistachio Brulee; in the spring, Fluer de Blonde and 000; and now? Miel Bebe and Lait De Coco!
I have admittedly only been wearing each scent on its own, but I can see how they would layer beautifully with one another.
As far as staying power, I’d give these a middle grade. They’re stronger than body mist but not as intense as other perfumes I’ve tried.
All in all, I think this set is worth the money, especially if you want to try these before buying a full-size bottle of any one scent. You could also just keep buying the sampler (which is what I might do) so you have options all year!
Have you tried this set? Curious what your favorite scent is, if so! So far, I think Miel Bebe is my favorite, but I still have a few scents left to try.
