I now have four pairs of Rothy’s: The Driver (full review here), The Point (full review here), The Flat (full review here), and recently got The Point Mary Jane.
Now that I’ve worn my Rothy’s to work my part-time retail job, I’ve been amazed at how comfortable they are — even for an 8-hour shift on my feet — and they still look so great.
I also wore The Point to Los Angeles and walked all around in them (and stood for three hours during a concert) and have 0 complaints. I’m hooked on Rothy’s!
On top of being comfortable, they are stylish, fun, and flattering.
During the holiday season, Rothy’s was selling a pair of black Mary Janes that tied across the foot, resulting in a cute bow. I wanted them so bad, but couldn’t justify buying them.
The reviews were mixed — many customers said the bow didn’t stay tied, although they were cute and comfy.
So, Rothy’s recreated the shoe with an elastic strap across the foot and ditched the tie. Ta da!
These looked perfect and I’d be able to wear them to work (and with anything) without having to worry about tying them.
I immediately bought them and wear them nearly every day since! I even wore them in the rain, and they dried with no issues (it did take them 24+ hours to fully dry).
Per the reviews, ordered them 1/2 a size larger than my usual.
I do not regret my choice one bit!
I’ve said this before, but just a reminder for those considering buying Rothy’s: As an adult, I’ve always had leg and back issues, and finding shoes that prevent that pain has always been challenging. I’m shocked at how much I love these shoes!
I know these won’t be my last pair of Rothy’s.
I’m considering going for a lace-up sneaker style, or maybe one of their newer styles such as the Almond Demi.
Overall review: I think Rothy’s is a great brand with classic styles. The price point is a little shocking at first, but given the quality and comfort of the shoes, it’s definitely worth it!
