A Review: Foy CBD Relief Cream.

I mentioned in one of my recent, previous reviews that this year, I’m making more of an effort to be conscious about how I spend my money.

I think during the height of the pandemic, buying things was bringing me bits of happiness, and well, now I have a bathroom closet FULL of wellness products — some of which I haven’t even taken the time to enjoy.

So, while my reviews this year may not be products that are brand new, they’ll be new to me and I’ll actually have given them a solid test run before writing (not that I wasn’t doing that already).

I was going through some of my favorite products, and I was surprised to see that I haven’t dedicated a post to the Foy CBD Relief Cream yet… so here it is!

At some point during the pandemic, I bought a CBD sampler box from Birchbox that had trial-sized products of all sorts of CBD-infused goodies such as lip balm, overnight masks, hair oil… you name it!

There was also a relief gel and the Foy CBD Relief Cream.

I have tried CBD massage oil previously and didn’t notice much of anything, but I give everything a fair chance. So, I tossed the Foy CBD Relief Cream into my bag when I was packing for a last-minute trip to San Francisco.

When I travel, I tend to run myself ragged. I pick the earliest flight possible, I cram my days full, and I try to walk everywhere I go. As a result, I usually pack some sort of lotion to massage my legs and feet with at the end of the day.

I usually use either Mary Kay’s Energizing Lotion for Feet & Legs or the Lanolips Minty Foot & Leg Balm. But, the bottles for those are pretty big and this trip was only 48 hours — I was risking it with the Foy trial.

I will never forget that travel day because I took the 7am flight from Austin to SF, landed around 9am, took a Lyft right to work, worked until 2pm, went to Golden Gate Park with coworkers for an obstacle course until 5:30, and then went to a company dinner until almost 8.

I was so, so exhausted. I think I’d gotten up at 3am to be at the airport by 5, and I remember having to still run to make it onto the plane.

I showered immediately after getting back to my room and was so happy to just sit in the hotel bed and put on all my serums and balms. I proceeded to give myself a foot and leg massage with the CBD lotion and OH MY GOD.

It’s minty and tingly with lavender essential oils, and the CBD eliminated my pain. I even put some on the back of my neck and shoulders, and ahhhh. Felt so good.

Between my two nights in town, I used the entire sample bottle, and took a picture of it so I wouldn’t forget to order a full-size bottle. I ordered one right when I got home and have 0 regrets.

Since I got it from Birchbox, I didn’t know anything about the company. Turns out, they’re really serious about making a quality product that’s ethically sourced and doesn’t harm the environment. I love that.

I’d definitely recommend this to anyone really looking for pain-relief, specifically from sore muscles or joint pain.

Foy also sells organic CBD, so I may have to give that a try.
