Hi there! Coming at you from Day 28 of self-isolation and I’m excited to share something I’ve been working on this week. It’s a list of thousands (yes, you read that correctly) of pieces of digital content for our entertainment while we’re all stuck at home.
I kept hearing about specific places that were offering free virtual tours or online exhibits and after telling myself, “Okay, I’m going to check that out” — I realized that this needed a comprehensive list, or at least one with more than three places.
Because the list is so comprehensive, I made it part of my Patreon launch!
If you’re not familiar, Patreon is a way for content creators to form an online community in a single place, while also earning a semi-consistent monthly income.
The Bitter Lemon’s Patreon is going to focus on the same content I talk about in my course, Blogging for Beginners, along with book discussions and possibly other fun things, like digital content to devour during quarantine.
The list includes more than 2,500 links to virtual tours, exhibits and performances at museums, zoos, national parks, theme parks and planetariums. It’s a monster, and honestly I’m going to spend my entire weekend touring exhibits from the comfort of my bed.
