The cast of Friends season 6

Watching: ‘Friends’ season 6.

I am still slowly moving through the entire series of “Friends” for the first time, and naturally documenting each season along the way.

When I started watching season 6, I was disappointed just because now I’m more than half way done with the series!

In season 6, Monica and Chandler decide to take their relationship to the next level and move in together. This means Rachel needs to move out and Joey will have to find a new roommate, which doesn’t go over well.

Meanwhile, Ross keeps delaying getting his marriage to Rachel properly annulled, but swears he’s not in love with her… despite inviting her to move in with him.

In a later episode, Ross puts on a fake English accent to impress his colleagues and students for an NYU professorship… and it’s one of the funniest things ever! Of course, he can’t keep the accent straight, so it’s hilarious.

Rachel eventually moves in with Phoebe. Phoebe hates Pottery Barn, which gets awkward when Rachel gets a new coffee table from there… only she lies and tells Phoebe it’s vintage. Well, it turns out Ross has the exact same table!

Another great episode is when Phoebe tells Rachel she made out with Ralph Lauren at Rachel’s job. Thiiiiis ends up in a giant mess, because it wasn’t really Ralph Lauren, but Rachel’s boss is half-pissed and half-jealous about the entire thing… even though it didn’t even happen!

Later in the season, Rachel’s sister gets financially cut off from the family and arrives to hopefully get help from Rachel. She’s having a tough time figuring things out on her own and almost immediately starts dating Ross, which obviously pisses Rachel off.

When Ross and Rachel’s sister end things, he starts dating a student, which is borderline creepy… but ends up hilarious when he follows her to MTV Spring Break!

The season ends with Richard coming back into play and basically confessing his love to Monica… but instead she accepts a proposal from Chandler!

I’m excited to see what season 7 will bring.

I know everyone probably gets off work early today, so I hope you al, have a fun, fantastic and SAFE July 4th — I’ll be kayaking and watching fireworks 🙂
