A few weekends ago, I had one of those perfect little unplanned moments that turns into a core memory.
I was heading out for a casual afternoon — checking out Waterloo Records for the first time (finally!) and grabbing some lunch nearby — when I spotted a Loveweld studio right next door.
I’ve always wanted a permanent bracelet, and I figured… why not today?
While I was eating, I went online, made an appointment for just a few minutes later, and walked over after lunch.
What Is a Permanent Bracelet?

Once I made my selections, they measured and adjusted the chain to the exact fit I wanted. I got to move my wrist around to make sure it felt natural, and then they got to welding.
The welding process is super quick — just a few gentle snaps of the machine.
They put a small leather protector between your skin and the chain so you don’t feel anything. The entire process was quick, but it felt really special.
Why I Love It
It’s been a few weeks since I got my bracelet, and I absolutely love it.
It’s so lightweight I barely notice it, but it’s beautiful — subtle, meaningful, and always with me.
I love catching a glimpse of it throughout the day. It makes me feel like I’m carrying a little bit of intention on my wrist.
