I recently got my 6th pair of Rothy’s! My collection includes The Driver (full review here), The Point (full review here), The Flat (full review here), The Point Mary Jane, and The Original Slip-On Sneaker (full review here).
The most recent style I got is one I’ve been eyeing for a while: The Almond Demi.
I saw this style during Rothys’ early announcement and was very intrigued. This is not a shoe I would normally gravitate toward, but they looked casual and elevated in a way that I really liked.
The toe is an almond shape, but they do slip right on; I imagined them feeling like a slipper or a clog but looking nice enough for work or an evening out.
When Rothy’s announced this style initially, they just had four colors: black, white, coral, and olive.
I really liked the black and the white, but they had mixed reviews, so I wasn’t ready to buy.
But a few months later, they released several additional colors, and I was SOLD when I saw the emerald green. It was unique, but would be versatile.
Per the reviews, I ordered my usual size (as opposed to ordering 1/2 size up for the pointed styles).
The fit is great — the toe box is bigger than in other styles, which is why you can get your regular size.
They are just as comfortable as my other Rothy’s styles, but I’d keep in mind two things if you’re considering buying them: 1. They are slip-ons, so if you struggle keeping slides on your feet, these may not be the right style for you, and 2. These do have a slight (and I mean very slight) bit of a raised heel (nothing good or bad about it, just something to note).
I’ve worn these running errands and during a Saturday brunch-to-shopping day and thought they were really comfortable.
I honestly LOVE wearing Rothy’s for travel because I can just toss them in the wash when I get home, and I think these are so versatile, which makes for an added travel bonus.
I’ve worn these with jeans (they look so cute with boyfriend jeans), dresses, and also just around the house or on my patio. I live in Texas, so the open style will be perfect for most of the year.
I know these won’t be my last pair of Rothy’s.

Overall review: I think Rothy’s is a great brand with classic styles. The price point is a little shocking at first, but given the quality and comfort of the shoes, it’s definitely worth it!
