Over the last few months, I’ve gotten into a good skincare routine. Plus, after reading Lauren Bosstick’s book (my full review is here), I have a renewed energy toward skincare.
I admittedly need to work on staying consistent, but I’m getting there.
So, here’s my current nighttime skincare routine:
Facewash
I wear makeup most days (if I have a retail shift), so I double cleanse to remove it all. I start with the Elemis Cleansing Balm (I love this stuff) and then use the Farmacy Whipped Greens foaming cleanser.
I exfoliate a few times a week and am currently using the Dermalogica Milkfoliant.
Toner
I always use a toner at night. I am sort of between brands right now — I just finished using Farmacy Deep Clean Pore Cleansing Toner and just started using the Provence Beauty Sugar Plum Exfoliating Facial Toner (so far, I like it!).
I liked the Farmacy toner a lot, but I wanted to try the Provence! I am always looking for a balance of skincare that keeps my pores clean since I’m acne-prone but also have other skin conditions.
Eye Cream
After the toner, I apply eye cream. I’ve tried all different kinds but am currently using Drunk Elephant Ceremighty AF Eye Balm. I like heavier creams at night, and this one has a thicker consistency and feels soothing.
Night Cream
Next, I use a moisturizing cream that’s specific for nighttime. I’m currently using Origins High-Potency Night-A-Mins, but I also like IT Cosmetics Confidence in Your Beauty Sleep.
Facial Oil
After the cream, I apply an oil (not a serum). There was a Juice Beauty oil I loved, but it got discontinued. I’ve been using the Pholk Beauty H2Oil Night Treatment Hemp x Hibiscus Night Oil, which I love!
Lip Mask
Next, I use a lip mask. My favorite is the Coconut Kisses Nourishing Lip Mask from Give Them Lala — it’s a balm and a scrub in one!
Facial Masks
At least once a week, I’ll skip the night cream and oil and go for an overnight mask. I am a real sucker for overnight masks because I wake up with glowing skin! My top three overnight masks are: Fresh Floral Recovery Calming Mask, Korres Night-Brightening Sleeping Facial, and Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Hydrating Mask.
…And that’s my current PM skincare routine! What does yours look like?
