A Review: Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm.

Well, I’ll be honest: I did NOT want to like the product I’m sharing with you today!

It’s the Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm.

This stuff has a cult following, so I bought it knowing it was a popular product — but it’s certainly on the higher end, at least price-wise.

Over the years, I’ve tried so many different skincare and beauty products. And, in more recent years, I’ve been willing (and able) to try higher-priced items.

Sometimes, things are worth the extra cost. But certainly, there are times when it’s best just to go for the drugstore option.

But I always like to try things, see what’s out there, and what works for me.

Enter the Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm.

This was on MAJOR sale, and I have been wanting to try it for a while, so I took the plunge and bought a tub.

I’ve tried several different cleansing balms at various price points, and when I tell you this stuff feels like BUTTER… oh my gosh!

It nearly melts right onto the skin — it’s fantastic.

The “original” balm does have. a slight minty scent, which is reminiscent of a spa. I really like the scent, but they also sell a scent-free version if that’s more your thing.

Having used the balm for a few weeks now, it reminds me of the Charlotte Tilbury Citrus Oil Radiance Cleanse, which I loved.

You can use the Elemis balm as a makeup remover, cleanser, or nourishing mask. I’ve mostly been using it to remove makeup, and I simply cannot say enough great things about it.

My favorite way to use it is to apply it right over my makeup at the end of the day and day a hot washcloth and drape it over my face for a minute… aahhhhh.

I have also used it in the morning as a cleanser on days when I’m not wearing makeup to just keep my skin hydrated all day long.

A little goes a long way, so although the item is pricier, it will last.

Have you tried the Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm?
