A Review: Manna Kadar Champagne Charcoal Body Scrub.

Back into a fresh week, and I’ve already thrown myself at a true-crime podcast by 7am — I needed content to keep me alert all day! If you’re curious, I’m listening to season 2 of “To Live and Die in LA.” If you haven’t listened to season 1, start there — it’s such a well-done podcast.

But, I figured I’d kick the blog week off with a luxurious body scrub: it’s the Manna Kadar Champagne Charcoal Body Scrub.

I got this in a limited edition Birchbox (I love these things) that had all sorts of high-end products for a low-price. I was a little skeptical of this at first because there’s already some body scrubs that I really enjoy, and I wasn’t sure how I felt about a black body scrub.

Color me shocked, because this felt so luxe!

It’s black because it’s obviously got charcoal in it, which helps to remove dirt and toxins from the skin. But the scent is champagne and the grit is small, so it’s not a very harsh scrub, which is good if you like to use it daily or multiple times each week.

It also has a more liquid consistency, so it just goes on very smooth. I honestly just loved using this!

This same brand has a cream body scrub and other bath and shower products that look good.

Maybe I am just a sucker for a body scrub, but this was just… chef’s kiss!

I used the entire jar — every bit of it — and now I’m using the Magic Crystals Body Scrub from LUSH, which is very minty and fresh 🙂

What body scrub do you like?
