Hey, it’s Friday!

This week has gone by in a blur and I’m not sure why, but here we are, just gotta make it until 5pm, and then I’m cracking a cocktail and watching the Opening Ceremonies for the Olympics.

Partying hard over here!

I am excited to share today’s review because it’s the first product I’ve tried in awhile that really gave me results OVERNIGHT.

It’s the Ultra Repair BarriAIR Cream from First Aid Beauty.

I know First Aid Beauty — or FAB — has a cult following, and now I know why. I got a sample of this product in a Birchbox and when I opened it, it looked like whipped moisturizer.

As in, there were lots of air bubbles, and I was worried something was wrong with it! When I dipped my finger in to use it, it was very light and fluffy feeling.

Turns out, it’s a “light-as-air cream-to-foam moisturizer.” I have never tried anything like this!

I used it before bed and my skin looked so great when I woke up! During the pandemic, I’ve developed some sort of rosacia or bits of irritation and acne on my cheeks and the only thing that seems to help is a good moisturizer.

Even then, I have to be really consistent with applying it every morning and night, but this, THIS STUFF, really toned down my redness and my skin felt so soft.

This cream has:

  • Triple-weight hyaluronic acid, which helps draw external moisture into skin
  • Adaptive hydration technology, which aids in stimulating the skin’s ability to replenish its internal moisture reserves
  • Colloidal oatmeal and antioxidant-rich vitamin E help calm, soothe and condition skin for an allover healthy, glowing complexion

After using it the first night, I was worried that I’d smashed all the air bubbles in the container… but when I opened it the next night, they were back!

I’m telling you, this product blew my mind. It’s so light but yet so powerful.

Oddly, I don’t see it available at Ulta, Sephora, or even the FAB website! I do it see at Walmart, Macy’s, and Amazon. I might need to stock up on this stuff!

What FAB products have you tried?
