A Review: GrandeLIPS Hydrating Lip Plumper.

We made it to Friday! I had a fairly light week as far as client work goes, but I’ve been working on some personal projects, including taking a screenwriting class and working on the print version of my book, “Oil & Ink.”

Regardless of how good the week goes, I am always glad to see the weekend, so I can shut my computer and do whatever I want 🙂

I am excited to share my latest beauty obsession — the GrandeLIPS Hydrating Lip Plumper! I got this as a sample (either from Ulta or in a Birchbox) and I absolutely loved it.

I got the clear gloss, but it comes in all sorts of great colors, including toasted apricot, pale rose, and spicy mauve, among others. This gloss uses hyaluronic acid to hydrate and plump lips — according to my hair stylist, you can always put hyaluronic acid serum on your lips if you need a plump because that’s one of the things they use in lip fillers.

According to GrandeLIPS, you see the best results when you use the gloss on a regular basis. I honestly loved the way this gloss felt and made my lips look that I used it all the time. It’s soft and not sticky, and it did plump the lips slightly. I have yet to find an over-the-counter product that gives me the same look as a lip filler, but this plumper is the best I’ve tried.

If you’re looking for any lip plumper, a gloss is a good start. If you can stand it, I think a high-shine gloss or a sparkle gloss also gives the illusion of larger lips. This lip plumper has a slight minty feeling to it, which made my lips tingle when I first put it on, which I assume is a sign of it working.

I’ve tried a few other products from Grande Cosmetics, including the mascara and liquid lip and am always impressed. The price point is a little higher, but I’m always happy to pay more if it’s worth it — definitely is in this case.

What are some lip plumpers that you’ve tried? Did they work? Leave a comment and let me know!
