A review: OFRA Baked Matte Blush.

I have been wearing a little bit of makeup lately — mostly for Patreon videos or pictures for the blog. But, I definitely forgot about this OFRA blush I bought myself after being influenced by Manny MUA!

He did a video using all OFRA cosmetics and I bought all kinds of stuff, but I was most excited to buy the Baked Matte Blush in “Bellini” — it’s the exact blush he was using in the video and he said such great things about it.

It is on the higher-end in terms of price, but let me just say… WOW. This blush is so nice!

For starters, the packaging. Immediately you can tell this is a quality product because it’s that really thick, hard plastic that’s not going to break if you drop it.

It’s such a nice compact with a mirror inside, which I love. Also, it’s huge. It’s a blush that’s the size of an average bronzer, so even though you’re paying a little more, it’s going to last awhile.

Plus… can we talk about the pressed design in the powder? I know this has nothing to do with the color or the quality of the blush itself, but wow it is such a treat to open up the compact and see it!

I am aware of how cheesy I sound right now, but over the last year… it’s really my first time trying out more higher-end products and sometimes (not always), they really do feel luxurious and it makes putting on makeup such a treat.

The blush itself IS really nice and it doesn’t take much to get a good color, depending on how you like your blush to look. It stays on all day, blends easily, and I truly love it — I’d venture to say this is the nicest blush I’ve ever used!

There are other colors OFRA has in this same matte formula: Mai Tai (bright orange), Punch (coral), and Cosmo (a deep rose).

They also have pressed blushes in loads of colors and they’re half the price of the others I mentioned. Now, I haven’t tried those, but I’m sure they’re great! The blush I got was 10 grams and the pressed blushes are 4 grams — it could be a great way to try out the brand.

If you really like the color of the Bellini blush but want a drugstore version, I’d suggest the Burt’s Bees blush in “Bare Peach” — it’s a little powdery, but it’s all-natural, $10 and the color is gorgeous!

What is your favorite blush right now?
