Does anyone else feel like this is a long week? I don’t know why, but I feel like all week I’ve been off on my days and I keep thinking it’s much later in the week than it really is.
Anyway, pre-pandemic, I always wore makeup. Maybe I didn’t wear it every day since I’ve worked from home for a long while, but I definitely work it on the weekends or whenever I left the house. Well, I haven’t been leaving the house much, so my large makeup collection has been going unused.
Instead, I have been focusing on skincare. I had a really big stash to begin with, but I’ve made an effort to use what I have and turns out, I’ve got some really cool stuff in there!
One thing I started using recently is Kiehl’s Calendula Deep Cleansing Foaming Face Wash. Here’s the scoop from the Kiehl’s website:

While Kiehl’s has been infusing products with Calendula since the 1960s, the healing properties of this plant date back to the 12th century. Calendula was used as a traditional ingredient in Chinese medicine long before it made it into Kiehl’s cult-favorite skincare products.
This product is one of Kiehl’s best-selling products, which is why I originally bought it several months ago.
Whenever I get a new product, I try to use up whatever is open first. So, when I started using this, I was really excited. It’s a gel-based cleanser but it foams up so much!
This stuff leaves my skin feeling SO clean, but not tight or dry like I’ve experienced before with foaming cleansers. I’ll be honest, I’m usually not a fan of gel cleansers, either.
But, you can tell this one is full of good ingredients. The gel has a thicker consistency right out of the bottle. If I’m wearing makeup, I do an initial cleanse (usually with a balm or a cold cream) first and then go in with this.
So chalk up another point for Kiehl’s. Every time I use one of their products, I feel like it’s just such a good brand that there’s not a thing I haven’t been impressed with yet. This face wash certainly isn’t a disappointment, either!
