It’s been a minute since I’ve even mentioned makeup on here — likely because I really haven’t been wearing it in quarantine. But, if you’re back on your makeup routine, I wanted to share my favorite bronzers for the summer.
Just so you know, ALL of these bronzers are in my collection. I have so much makeup and I buy and try everything I mention on this blog — trust! Obviously, some of these are ones I truly love, and I’ll point those out as we move along.
Let’s get bronzed:
Smashbox Bronze Lights Bronzer

This bronzer was really the first high-end one I purchased and it was worth every penny as it is my all-time favorite bronzer. I used the shade “Warm Matte” and I just felt like it was just the right color for my skin. It’s a true matte bronzer, no shimmer, and it’s very warm in its shade, which I like. Blends easily. I used every last particle of this! | Amazon, $26
Wet n’ Wild Color Icon Bronzer
I saw this on Manny MUA’s channel and knew I had to try it… and this one WINS for best drugstore bronzer. This is what I’m currently using and I love it. It does have a bit of shimmer, which I know some people hate, but it’s very subtle. I use the shade “Sunset Striptease” (the warmest shade) but it comes in four shades and the “Palm Beach Ready” has cooler undertones. | Amazon, $3
Laura Geller Baked Body Frosting All Over Face & Body Glow

This is one of Laura Geller’s best sellers and I love all of her baked products. While this is a face and body bronzer, I think it looks best on the chest, shoulders, collarbone… because it’s got that pearlized finish (it’s not glittery) that gives everything a subtle contour. It’s so soft on the skin and is so pretty. I have the shade “Tahitian Glow” which, you guessed it, is more warm, but the shade “Hawaiian” is cooler in tone. | QVC, $40
Colourpop Pressed Powder Bronzer
Last year, I bought the entire “Going Coconuts” collection from Colourpop, which came with two bronzers and they are fantastic matte shades. For the price, you get a great compact with a mirror (I love this) and a completely matte bronzer that’s smooth and blendable. I have the shades “Talk to the Palm” (warm) and “Coconut Beach” (cool). | Colourpop, $8
Benefit Hoola Bronzer
I honestly just started wearing Hoola Bronzer this year and I know this is the product that so many people love! It’s very soft, smooth and blendable, not to mention it’s matte and makes for a good contour. My only gripe with this is the actual packaging, which I know sounds stupid, but it’s all part of it and I wish the box it came in wasn’t so deep. This is a great bronzer though! | Amazon, $27
e.l.f. Cosmetics Aqua Infused Blush & Bronzer

This is a duo compact that I’ve shared on the blog before because I love it! It feels like a cream at the touch, but it blends like a powder. The texture of it is perfect if you live in hot, humid areas and it comes in three different shades. I have “Bronzed Pink Beige” and “Bronzed Peach.” | Amazon, $4
Anastasia Beverly Hills Powder Bronzer
This bronzer is so, so soft! It’s also very lightweight and doesn’t have a lot of pigment, which I know some people like. You can build it up for a more rich tone, but it definitely swatches much darker than it is when you put it on with a brush. I have the shade “Rich Amber” and am definitely impressed. | Amazon, $28
Morphe Glamabronze Face & Body Bronzer
I was so excited to get my paws on one of these — they always sell out! This is probably the most-sheer bronzer on this list, so if you like buildable color, this is for you. It’s very soft and natural-looking, plus totally matte. It’s also a pretty massive pan, so you get a lot of product for your money. I have the shade “Icon” but it comes in several shades. | Morphe, $10
Illamasqua Gel Sculpt
This is likely more for contour, but I couldn’t not mention it. It’s a shade stick, but it has a very light gel-like texture that immediately dries down. It’s the only stick I’ve tried that actually dries and doesn’t feel like it’s going to rub off. You could easily use it with powder. I have the shade “Silhouette” and it looks almost black, but it goes on very sheer. | Illamasqua, $25
What bronzers do you use? I’d love to know so I can add them to my list to try. Happy bronzing!
