A Review: Too Faced Major Must-Haves Makeup Set.

I am so excited to share my thoughts on this makeup set by Too Faced. I’ll be honest, I’d been watching it for awhile and it turned into a free gift with any $35 purchase of Too Faced products, so I bought some foundation and got this for free!

I have been using it for awhile, so I feel good about offering a solid opinion on all of the products. Here’s what the set includes:

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara (Deluxe size)

Take home our Better Than Sex mascara and all your desires for lush, incredibly intense lashes will be fulfilled. One application of our collagen-fueled formula and touch of our specially shaped brush will leave you begging for more. One coat and lashes are full, defined and stretched to unbelievable lengths. Two coats and they’re reaching unbelievable heights of drama. Three coats and you’ll believe in magic.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Easy Glide Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner (Travel size)

This cutting-edge liquid eyeliner is the easiest you’ll ever use, created to produce a sharp, fluid, smudge-proof line, every time! In one stroke, achieve an intense black line that lasts for 24 sexy hours. The combination of Too Faced’s Easy Glide waterproof formula and an innovative dual-fiber brush.

Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer (Deluxe size)

Got a beauty hangover? Too Faced’s replenishing face primer is your instant cure. It hydrates, smoothes and brightens skin for a dewy, healthy looking finish. When long days of work and late nights of play give you a beauty hangover, this is your instant cure. Hangover is a revolutionary makeup primer infused with coconut water, probiotics and skin revivers that work together to boost skin’s radiance, promote elasticity and help hydrate while locking down makeup for fresher, longer and more flawless wear.

Too Faced Fruit Cocktail Blush Duo in Apricot in the Act (Deluxe size)

Too Faced Tutti Frutti – Fruit Cocktail Blush Duo can be used individually to blush or glow-or mixed together for a multidimensional flush. Each one of the blush duos has their own unique scent that matches the fruit they were inspired by!

This was the first time I’ve ever tried any of these products. I’ll start with the mascara — I really liked it. It’s buildable and has a nice brush that got all of my individual lashes. It was a little difficult to get on my bottom lashes, but that’s ok. I tried it without lash primer and with… and my lashes really popped with both. I would definitely buy the full-size of this!

The eyeliner was my favorite thing in this kit, which I didn’t expect. It has a true bristled tip, which makes for really easy, smooth application. I felt like it was really easy to get my line straight and the wings looking even. I don’t go too heavy with eyeliner, but this seemed really buildable if you wanted to make it thicker.

I’m still sort of figuring out my thoughts on the primer. I definitely liked it — it’s thin and goes on really easily. My makeup looked great when I used it, but is it better than my favorite primers? I’m not sure. I would like to keep trying more from the “Hangover” line of products, because I’ve heard the setting spray is really good.

And then there’s the blush duo… which smells fruity! That was a pleasant surprise. I love the apricot shades, and tried them separate and mixed. The lighter, shimmery shade can definitely be used as a highlighter but is likely to light to be used as a blush on its own. I’d be down to try all of the different shades they have — the packaging is cute, too!
