I’ve been using press-on nails for years. At this point, I’ve tried just about everything from drugstore staples to higher-end, aesthetic brands, and I feel pretty confident saying I know a good set when I see one.
So when I spotted Celebritips press-on nails at TJ Maxx, I was intrigued… but not fully convinced (I have to try everything first).
Now? I’m fully on board.
The Find: Chocolate Glaze
The set I picked up was called Chocolate Glaze, and it immediately stood out. The color was rich, glossy, and honestly looked like something you’d get done at a salon.
Even better? The price: $12 at TJ Maxx
- Comes in a super cute reusable case
- Includes glue, a mini file, and an alcohol prep pad
Right away, it felt like a really complete, thoughtful kit; not just nails tossed in a box.
Application + Wear Test
I’ve applied enough press-ons to know when something is going to be a struggle… and these were not.
They:
- Applied easily
- Fit well across different nail sizes
- Had a nice thickness (not flimsy, not bulky)
And the real test: how long did they last?
Two full weeks.
The only reason I took them off was that my nails had grown out, not because they popped off or started looking bad. That’s honestly the best-case scenario for press-ons.
Let’s Talk About the Brand
After I had such a good experience, I went down a bit of a rabbit hole looking into Celebritips—and wow.
Their website is full of:
- Trend-forward designs and nail shapes
- Elevated neutrals
- Glossy, “your nails but better” finishes
- More statement styles if that’s your thing
It feels like a brand that really understands what people want right now: salon-quality nails without the time, cost, or commitment.
Price Breakdown (Because This Matters)
Here’s where this gets even better:
- ~$20 on their website
- ~$12 (sometimes less!) at TJ Maxx
And honestly? Even at $20, I think they’re worth it.
You can easily get two full sets out of one box, depending on sizing and reuse, which makes the cost per wear incredibly reasonable, especially compared to salon visits.
That said… I highly recommend checking TJ Maxx first. Finding them there feels like a little beauty win.
(And yes, I’ve gone back and bought more sets since. No regrets.)
Final Thoughts
There are a lot of press-on nail brands out there right now, and not all of them live up to the hype.
But Celebritips genuinely impressed me.
They’re:
- Easy to apply
- Long-lasting
- Stylish without being over-the-top
- And actually affordable
If you’re someone who loves the look of a fresh manicure but doesn’t want to commit to salon appointments (or the cost), these are 100% worth trying.
And if you happen to spot them at TJ Maxx?
Grab them. Immediately.
