A Review: LUSH After Magnesium Massage Bar.

In March, I placed an order for a LUSH haul, thanks to a gift card I got for Christmas.

One of the sites I got was the After Magnesium Massage Bar.

I promised to report back on any new-to-me items that I loved, and well, here I am! I LOVE this massage bar.

The funny thing is, although I’ve shopped at LUSH for years and years, I have always looked past the massage bars because I assumed they were a product that would be easier to use with a partner.

I’m here to say that was a silly thought, and I was wrong!

Although I don’t have a partner, I use the massage bar perfectly fine on my own, and it’s great for all sorts of uses.

LUSH has all sorts of different massage bars, and I picked this one for two reasons: 1. I wanted one that had magnesium in it to help relax my muscles, and 2. This one also has peppermint in it and I couldn’t resist how cooling and relaxing that would feel at the end of a long day.

There are several scent options to choose from (and options that aren’t magnesium-based) including floral, woody, fruity, and clean.

Initially, I thought it would be great to use on my legs after a long walk. While true, my favorite way to use the bar is right before I lay down to sleep.

I rub it on the back of my neck, my shoulder blades, and along my collarbone. Ahhhh. Instant relaxation!

This massage bar does get pretty soft quickly, but I like that I can get a good amount of product on my skin without too much work. LUSH suggests putting the massage bar in the fridge if it gets too soft, but I haven’t had to do that.

I use this several times per week, and still have half of it left, which I find impressive, especially for the price.

This has truly become one of my favorite products, and I’m so glad I decided to get it!

Have you tried any of the massage bars?
