A few years ago, I started using under-eye gels and patches as part of my daily morning routine.
The budgeting part of me does see how this may appear excessive, but you know what? It’s a nice, easy thing I can do for myself in the mornings. Not only does it help me wakeup, but it also has reduced the puffiness under my eyes.
Last year, I put together a list of my favorite under-eye gels and patches, and today, I’m adding to it because I’m already on my second box of Marée Marine Collagen Eye Gels.
A few months ago, someone I follow online was wearing a pair and they were so cute — brightly colored and glittery, so I asked her where she got them.
She sent me the link and I purchased a box once I ran out of my stash.
I keep all of my eye patches in my fridge for an extra cool blast in the mornings, so I put the box in the fridge and started using them the next day.
Now, it’s not important, but I will admit the packaging on these is so cute! It’s colorful and reminds me of a mermaid.
Each box contains 12 pairs of eye patches (making them affordable), and you get two pairs of each color: white, magenta, blue, teal, purple, and aqua.
While I love the colors, and I REALLY love the glitter (which does not transfer onto your skin), I also love that the company took a lot of effort to make them eco-friendly.
These eye patches are made with ocean-sourced ingredients and are sustainably formulated and ethically sourced.
The eye gels have pearl extract (for reducing wrinkles), red algae extract (for a fresh-faced look), marine collagen (for reducing dark circles), and hyaluronic acid (for plump skin).
I put mine on first thing in the morning and leave them on for an hour or so (you don’t have to leave them on this long) before I put on the rest of my skincare.
I really do love these, and will definitely continue to purchase them!
I saw that Marée has a few other skincare products, and I want to try them — especially the sheet masks.
