I’ve recently become more aware of the ingredients in my skincare and beauty products — I know, I’m late to the game. But it’s never too late to start, right?
As part of this clean-ingredient journey, I had the brand Farmacy on my radar. I’ve heard about them for years and knew they were a clean brand with a following.
So, when I got a Sephora gift card for my birthday, I bought my first Farmacy product: the Clearly Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm.
Here’s the scoop on it from the Farmacy website:
Fragrance-free formula. Formulated especially for sensitive skin types, this cleansing balm is free of fragrance, essential oils, colorants/dyes, and PEGs.
Melts the day away. Sunflower seed oils effortlessly remove even the boldest eye makeup and long-wear foundation without stripping, drying, or leaving any residue.
Gently exfoliates. Papaya extract helps to retexture skin and reveal a youthful glow. Never harsh, it’s safe for all skin types, including dry and delicate skin.
100% sustainable packaging. Every jar of Clearly Clean is composed of 50% recycled post-consumer resin and comes in a carton made from FSC-certified paper with inks made from naturally renewable raw materials.
…Pretty awesome, huh? Now that I’ve had the chance to use it several times, I can speak on it. One of the first things I noticed about it is the jar — even when it’s full — is so lightweight.
The product is light, too, and it’s very smooth and creamy. I’ve used other balms that are so thick it’s difficult to spread on and actually use it.
I’ve been using this to remove makeup; it’s the first step in my two-step cleansing routine at the end. of the day.
This is light and airy and removes makeup without stripping my skin or leaving it feeling greasy — a complete win! It even comes with a little scoop to get the balm out, so you don’t have to dig in there with your finger 🙂
I love that this is a clean, cruelty-free product that’s also eco-friendly! I know that in many clean products, there’s no scent, and part of me was a little worried because I often like the scents of products! Would I miss it?
So far, nah. The scent is unnecessary! So far, I love this product. Not only will I be buying this again, but I’ve already bought another product from Farmacy (I just haven’t used it yet, but I’ll report back once I do).
Have you used any products from Farmacy?
