I read three entire books during my 12 days as a poll worker during early voting this year!
One of the books I read was “There’s More to Life Than This” by Theresa Caputo, AKA The Long Island Medium.
I have been a fan of Theresa and her show, “Long Island Medium,” for years! I had the pleasure of attending one of her live events last October and was really inspired.
Truthfully, death has affected me so much over the course of my life, and hearing the messages she gets from the other side — even when they’re messages for others — is comforting.
After I saw her live, I bought all of her books!
“There’s More to Life Than This” is the first book she wrote. I don’t think her book is necessarily a series, but I usually prefer to read an author’s work in the order in which it was published.
In this first book, she shares several stories about how she understood she was a medium — even receiving messages as a young child!
If you’ve watched the show or seen her live, you know she speaks with Spirit via symbols. I never thought much about it, but in the book, she shares how she learned the symbols and how the messages from Spirit affect her physically.
All of this is so fascinating to me!
She shared specific stories and messages she’s received from Spirit, and while I can’t relate to them, it’s interesting to see how other people connect to the afterlife.
I’m more excited now to read her other books.
If you’re someone who believes in mediums, are grieving, or looking for signs from someone that has passed, I’d definitely recommend this book!
