A Review: The Bala Beam.

I bought some more at-home workout equipment at the beginning of the year. I mean, we’re not going back to actual gyms, are we??

Between my extensive collection of Bala gear and my subscription to Yoga for All Humans (a totally digital studio), I’m dedicated to getting fit at home.

You may recall when I made my first Bala purchase (I did a full review of it here) once it became clear that in-person workout classes may not be a thing of the future.

In short, I really liked the products I bought, so when Bala expanded their offerings, I bought more!

Today I’m talking about the Bala Beam.

This ergonomic weight bar is 25 pounds and coated with Bala’s signature soft silicon.

When I bought mine, there were two weight options: 15 pounds and 25 pounds. I’m not sure if the 15-pound option is just temporarily out-of-stock at the time of this writing.

However, I chose the 25-pound option because I have the Power Ring, which is 10 pounds. I figured I may as well go for the heavier option!

Regarding color, I bought my Beam in “Shine,” which has silver glitter mixed into the silicon. I love it!

This weight fits perfectly on the back of your neck and shoulders, making it so much easier to do presses and other exercises.

I cannot tell you how many times I’ve just done weight sets with this thing while watching TV. I have done traditional exercises with it and found unique ways to use it.

That’s what I love about Bala as a brand — there are so many different ways you can use their products!

It also just looks cool. I usually don’t put my Beam away — it’s always resting against the wall in my living room so I can grab it whenever I desire. And it looks like a piece of decor!

If you use a weighted bar in your workouts or are looking to, I recommend getting the Beam!

You can buy it alone or in a kit — where there are additional weight and color options.

Have you ever used any Bala products?
