My First Impressions of Cozeco X ALVN Studio.

Over the last few years, I have made a huge effort to purchase only clothing that’s eco-friendly. As a result, I buy fewer clothes, and the clothes I do buy are often from Goodwill or ThredUp.

If it’s not from either of those two places, it’s from a company that’s eco-conscious.

Enter: COZeCO x ALVN Studio!

COZeCO is Whitney Port’s (from MTV’s “The Hills” and “The City”) loungewear line, which is produced by eco-friendly, women-owned fashion company Avalon Apparel. They provide limited quantities so there’s no waste, and everything is made in the USA.

In the last year, I’ve made two orders — both when items were on sale — and I thought I’d share what I got and how I like it, now that I’ve worn everything multiple times!

Organic Cotton Beach Vest

This is not an item I would normally pick out for myself, but it had such great reviews and I loved the way it looked on the models in the photos. I bought the vest in the “Faded Blue” color, which I love in-person for all-year looks.

I honestly would’ve never thought to wear it with nothing underneath, but it looks really cute. It’s not quite big enough to wear a loose top underneath, but a fitted tank or a bodysuit looks great. I also love wearing this at home, just lounging around, or when I have a work call.

Stretch Organic Cotton Scoopy Back Bodysuit

I love a bodysuit and I really wanted this one. I ended up getting it in “Violet,” which is a unique color in person. I’ve worn it several times and, while it’s not my favorite bodysuit, I do like it.

Pros: the adjustable straps, color, soft feel, and durability. Cons: No snaps at the bottom, and it’s not a true thong — it’s a “cheeky cut” but it definitely rides up. I’ve worn it with jeans and sweats alike, and it looks cute with both!

COZZZeee Fringe Scarf

This is the first item I bought from COZeCo and it’s my favorite piece! I got the “Morning Light Green” color, which is a faded spring green hue. I took the scarf with me to New York in February and to Iceland in March, and I used it as an in-flight blanket and a scarf for both trips.

It’s so soft and warm, and it’s huge! You can dress it up or down, and honestly, I want to buy the other two colors! Also, nearly half of it is made from recycled acrylic — amazing!

100% Organic Cotton Collared Day Dreamz Blouse

This was more of a trendier purchase — it looks like a nice “pajama top” — that has a rounded collar, short sleeves, and buttons down the front. I got the tan option, and although I don’t necessarily think it flatters my arms, it is a cute top.

I’ve worn it with jeans out to lunch, but it is my go-to top for Zoom calls 🙂

Awww Organic Cotton Sweats

I love a good pair of sweatpants! I bought these in “Moss Green” and they are so comfy and cozy. These are a relaxed fit, so they’re roomy and soft.

I love wearing them at home just with a fitted tank, but they’re polished enough to wear for running errands!

So far, that’s all I’ve gotten, but I’m always checking out what’s on their site. I am confident I’ll be making more purchases in the future.
