A Review: Skims Cotton Rib Legging.

I hope you all are having a great Memorial Day weekend — are you catching any sales?

I may or may not have (read: I did) did some serious damage at Skims. I’m assuming it’s still happening (run to the website and see!), but they opened up a 50% off sale Thursday and I literally threw everything that was available in my size into my cart.

My bank account may be hurting as a result, but I feel great – ha!

I have never gotten an item from Skims that I haven’t loved, which is why I decided to feature the Cotton Rib Leggings on the blog today.

These were the second or third item I’d ever purchased from Skims and I started with one pair… then bought four more in different colors.

I bought these as an option to wear in Iceland… in March of 2020. But then that trip was canceled and these leggings became my lockdown staple.

These are exactly what they sound like: cotton rib leggings, so they are a little warmer than other leggings I’ve had, but I still wear them year ’round.

They have stitching detail around the top and are double-lined where underwear would sit — making them not sheer. They have a high waisted fit, which I love, and the heavy elastic band makes them stay put.

I’ve worn them to yoga, so I can say they’re safe for low-impact workouts.

The care instructions say hand wash, hang dry. I usually hand wash, but then put them in the dryer on the lowest setting. I have accidentally put them in the wash and they ended up just fine.

These are the leggings I wear, then wash, and wear immediately… and I’ve had them for more than a year and they still look great. I even bought a sixth pair during the sale.

I’m telling you — they’re amazing!

Do you have a favorite pair of leggings?
