Y’all.
I spent a solid half my day yesterday spraying my patio after an infestation of fire ants! WTH?!
I feel like that’s a sign of things to come, right? I have a cat and precious plants, so I was using a pet- and plant-safe spray that I made in my kitchen.
I eventually had to go inside because it was getting dark out and I had the creeps. I kept having dreams that I was going to wakeup this morning and my whole apartment would be covered in fire ants.
Luckily, that didn’t happen.
I just went outside to check and the plants seem mostly ant-free but there are still a few roaming around the area. I think there is/was a nest nearby? It’s the weirdest thing, but I’m hoping they march on to their next location.
