A review: Ahava MINERAL BOTANIC CREAM WASH.

Happy Saturday! Honestly… I was sitting on my couch watching TV last night, enjoying a “Duncan’s Toy Chest” cocktail from the “Home Alone” themed menu I posted yesterday… when I reach over for my drink and there’s a big spider on my end table!

I haaaaaaate spiders!!! They have got to be the insect that creeps me out the most. The funny thing is, ever since I moved to Texas, I’ve been kind of worried about what sort of bugs would show up. I mean, parts f Austin have scorpions and snakes and…. big spiders.

When I went to Marfa a few years ago and was just walking around the campground, I saw bugs that I’d never seen before. Even walking around my neighborhood, I’ve seen some big ass, creepy spiders. But, I’ve never seen any in my apartment!

Until last night. UGH! I am still jumpy because of it and I have an overwhelming sense of anxiety about where it got in? Are there more? How long was it in the apartment? EWWWWW. I was so scared to get into bed last night and once I finally did, I slept in the tightest little ball because I was so scared! Ha!

Anyway, hopefully today my fright will fade.

I have been wanting to share this Ahava cream body wash for a while! Several months ago, I think they were having a sale or a 5x the points day at Ulta on all Ahava products, so I bought several things I hadn’t tried before, including this body wash.

Here’s the scoop:

A luxurious cream body wash formulated with the power of Dead Sea minerals and enriched with Hibiscus, Fig, vitamins and antioxidants. Pair with Hibiscus & Fig Body Lotion to nourish and soften skin.

  • Hibiscus helps to smooth and moisturize while promoting the healing of dry skin with natural anti-bacterial properties.
  • Fig Extract contains anti-inflammatory properties as well as natural moisturizers.

Honestly, I continue to be impressed with almost every single item I’ve purchased from this brand. This cream body wash is so luxurious and smells wonderful! I have the hibiscus and fig, which is fresh but rich smelling.

I will say that it doesn’t really work to use as a bubble bath (tried it), but it’s very lathery if you use it on a sponge or a loofah.

This cream body wash is vegan and paraben-free, as all Ahava products are.

I don’t particularly have dry skin, so I can’t speak to the moisturizing effects of this product (although it doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry), but the reviews on the Ahava website are great in this regard (and in general).

Depending on when you read this, they are having a 30% off sale on their entire site. Some of my other favorite items from this brand include their:

  • Hydration Cream Mask | Amazon
  • Mineral Hand Cream | Amazon
  • Brightening & Hydrating Facial Treatment Mask | Amazon
  • Natural Dead Sea Mud for Body | Amazon

Have you tried any of their products? Which ones should I try next?
