I have been eyeing SO many things from Beauty Bakerie for a long time. But, it’s an independent brand and I’ll admit that sometimes I have my eyes glued to Ulta’s website, which hasn’t always featured smaller brands.
Ulta now carries Beauty Bakerie, but also, they have their own site that’s convenient to order from, too. Over the summer, I got lots of items to try, including a Lip Whip, foundation, eyeliner, mascara and setting spray.
But, I started using the Insta Bake Concealer immediately and have already used the entire thing! So, I thought I could speak to that product first — don’t worry, I’ll report back on the others once I use them more!

There are so many things I love about this concealer. For one, I really like the applicator because it comes to a very fine tip that is perfect for getting into the inner corners of your eye.
This is also a completely full coverage concealer, which is key. I have been wearing less makeup this year and I like to wear a tinted moisturizer (I like the Tarte Marajuca Hydrator) and then add coverage under my eyes with concealer. This is especially great for wearing a mask because you don’t really see much else!
This concealer is a thicker consistency (comparable to Shape Tape) which I prefer. I have used it with an without powder, and it works really well for baking, if you’re into that.
My only complaint is that I wish the bottle were bigger, just because I loved the formula so much!
I will also note that Beauty Bakerie is a Black-female-owned brand and it makes me feel good to support a great brand with a great person behind it.
Definitely check out what they have in their line because it’s quality stuff, but also, the packaging is so cute!
