A review: ouai chill pills.

One thing I’ve noticed about myself in the last two years is that I take a lot of baths. I know some people can’t stand the idea of a bath — that you’re sitting in your own dirty water — but I don’t look at it that way at all!

I never take a bath as a way to “get ready” for the day. For me, it’s a way to end the way and it’s a chance to relax and listen to a podcast or read a book. I usually do a face mask while soaking in the tub and I love to light a candle and maybe even have a glass of wine.

The more baths I take, the more I look for products to enhance my experience. I really like Dr. Teal’s bubble bath and epsom salts (I’ve tried almost all of the different scents and am never disappointed).

I’ve also been trying out a few bath oils (more to come on these). And, I am no stranger to bath bombs. I was searching around on Ulta’s site for some new ones and came across the Ouai Chill Pills

I have only seen Ouai haircare products, so I was instantly intrigued.

The Chill Pills are a jar of 6 bath bombs, shaped like oversize pills. I am a sucker for clever packaging.

But it was the reviews that sold me — people were saying they smelled so good! Like jasmine and rose… “Add to cart”!

I have used 4 of these bath bombs so far and wow do they smell so good! They don’t add any sort of foam or bubble to the bath (most bath bombs don’t), but they do offer a wonderful scent and my skin always feels hydrated when the bath is over.

Each bath bomb is probably about 3-4 inches long in size — not as big as a bath bomb from Lush. These Chill Pills fit in the palm of your hand.

At first, I was a little surprised by the price ($30), but that puts it at $5 per bath bomb, which is definitely reasonable.

So, I definitely will be purchasing these again. I love the pill shape, the scent, and it’s worth noting that the container they come in is nice and sturdy — perfect for the side of your tub.

What are some of your favorite bath bombs?
