A review: Living proof replenish rich tones transformation kit.

At the beginning of lockdown, I saw a great sale on Living proof items. If you know anything about me, well, you know it’s really a challenge for me to pass up a great sale.

I’d only tried Living proof shampoo and conditioner once, but I put several things into my cart to take advantage of the deal. I am always looking for a good shampoo and conditioner for color-treated hair, especially if it’s going to help keep my hair from fading.

So, I got the Mini Transformation Kit for Rich Tones. Here are the details:

A starter kit that makes hair color last 2x longer**—powered by our new patented technology and innovative whipped glazes. For darker tones.

**Compared to a traditional prestige color care shampoo and conditioner

Helps lock in your color
Helps hair stay cleaner, longer
UV protection
Deposits temporary dyes to instantly replenish and rebalance your tone
Boosts color vibrancy between color treatments
Leaves hair looking healthy, soft and shiny

The kit comes with a Color Care shampoo, conditioner and the Color Care Whipped Glaze, which you apply to damp, detangled hair. The effects of the glaze can last for multiple washes, so you don’t have to use it every time you wash your hair.

I really liked the shampoo and conditioner — it’s very rich and smells great! The kit is $18 and you can get three washes out of the shampoo and conditioner, which is pretty good, considering the quality of the products.

If you’re on the fence about these, I say go for it. However, my hair stylist told me she has thin hair and she’s never had much luck with Living proof products.

I do have thick hair, so it might be something to keep in mind.

Have you tried anything fromLiving proof? I bought the heat protectant spray and their dry shampoo, too, but haven’t tried them yet.
