Happy Friday! I don’t know what is going on with me, but I feel like every day this week has been a STRUGGLE. I’ve been feeling exhausted and have really had to work to get stuff done. So, I’m happy the weekend is very near.
I am continuing my efforts to watch all of the “Friends” seasons for the FIRST time! I just finished season 3, and I don’t know if it was the mood I was in, but it really made me laugh.
There’s the episode where Joey puts on all of Chandler’s clothes — mostly a diverse collection of gym shorts — and says, “Look! I’m Chandler! Could I BE wearing any more clothes?!”
There’s another episode where Monica’s aunt passes away, but leaves a pretty fancy dollhouse for her and she’s all excited to play with it. But, when Phoebe comes over and wants to play with it, she doesn’t agree with her eclectic style, especially when her dollhouse is very Victorian.
So, Phoebe makes her own dollhouse that has lights and a room made of licorice, and everyone agrees it’s the BEST dollhouse ever! It eventually catches on fire, but the whole thing made me laugh.
And finally, the episode where Joey decides to build a giant entertainment center all so they have a place to put the mail. It’s so big, in fact, it doesn’t fit properly in the living room and it nearly blocks their bedroom doors, but they keep it anyway.
To make matters even funnier, Joey insists on wearing a tool belt around everywhere. Too funny!
I’m probably going to start season four this weekend, along with catching up on some other TV shows I missed this week — there is SO much great TV on right now!
It’s supposed to be rainy, foggy, and cold this weekend, so I’m not going to regret staying indoors. I hope you all have a great one 🙂
