2024 Holiday Beauty Products!

It’s official now: the holiday season is upon us!

I typically write this post as a round-up of items I think are worth the money, but this year, I’m sharing the beauty products I actually purchased!

I mostly have bath and skincare products (I’m staying away from buying makeup this year) but hopefully you’ll find something for yourself, or maybe a gift for someone on your list.

In the spirit of being mindful, though, I hope this inspires you to take some time for yourself this holiday season, even if that means making a bubble bath and soaking for 20 minutes!

Let’s get into my top picks for seasonal beauty items:

Glittery Press-on Nails

There are always so many cute holiday press-on nails to choose from! I have the Kiss Impress “Cozy Comfort” (pictured) for this year, but there are so many options.

I like to get one holiday set (the last few years I’ve been able to find ones with holly on them) and one wintery set or super sparkly set to wear around the New Year.

Glamnetic, Kiss Impress, and OPI are the brands I’ve used several times and trust — they stay on for weeks and look like a salon manicure.

I always get compliments on my nails and people are shocked when I say they’re press ons 🙂

Holiday Scrubbing Sponges

I am such a sucker for a body scrub! For years, I was using a body scrub every time I showered. When I entered this year, determined to buy less, I knew my body scrubs had to go. So, I bought exfoliating mesh (more info and review is here) and haven’t looked back.

But, then I saw an old love on Pinterest: Spongelle! I used to LOVE these things because of their scrubbing capabilities combined with luxurious soap.

They have so many fun, seasonal shapes and scents, and I bought two sets (one gingerbread set and one Christmas tree set, with four different scents in each set).

I’m going to keep some for myself and gift others. Aside from the sponge and lovely soap, I love that you can use these for anything — general body wash, of course, but you can also scrub your heels, elbows, or other rough areas. A great gift or treat for yourself!

Seasonal Masks

I love when brands start releasing masks in holiday scents, with festive packaging.

This year, I got the Tony Moly Candy Cane foot mask, the Tony Moly Sugar Cookie hand mask, and The Creme Shop Glowing Snowflake sheet mask (it is part of their Hello Kitty collab).

Any hand or foot mask is a great gift because it’s an instant spa moment — put on the booties, turn on a holiday movie, and you’re set for cozy time!

I like to leave the hand and foot masks on for at least an hour to make the most of them 🙂

Festive Lip Balm Advent Calendar

I always get myself some sort of advent calendar! In the past, I’ve gotten an eyeshadow one, a nail polish one, a general beauty one… they are so fun.

I saw lots of great options this year, but when I saw the Hello Kitty Lip Smacker Advent Calendar… I knew I had to get it!

I haven’t started it yet because it’s only 12 days (I’ll start it on the 13th), but I know it’s all lip products (obviously).

Some other great beauty advent calendars I saw include the Burt’s Bees one, Glow Recipe (for true skincare junkies), and a Spa Life one!

Holiday Bath Bombs

I got my seasonal bath bombs from Pacha this year. They are such a good, ethical company that supports sustainable farming around the globe, and I’ve always loved their products!

I bought a value pack of seasonal bath bombs, which includes Spiced Pomegranate, Sugar & Spice, Balsam & Pine and Peppermint Twist. I also bought myself an extra Peppermint Twist bath bomb because I love them so much!

I also got the “Salty Santa” pack of bath salt blocks, which isn’t actually holiday, but has epsom salts for sleep, soothing, muscle relaxing, and breathing. These would be good stocking stuffers for anyone who suffers from muscle soreness.

Other places that have great bath bombs are LUSH, Old Whaling Co, and Soul CBD.

Seasonal Soap

You might be noticing a trend that I love anything peppermint this time of year!

It’s true… and I bought a bar of Peppermint Twist soap from Pacha. I plan to use it with my exfoliating mesh, when I’m not using my Spongelle, of course 🙂

There’s loads of holiday bar soaps out there, and I think these make great gifts — we all use soap!

I hope you enjoyed my holiday beauty picks — what are you using this season?
