A Review: Vegamour GRO Collection.

This is a collection of products I’ve been so excited to share with you; I wanted to use them and see some results before I did, and that day has come!

Before I jump into the products, I’ll tell you a little about my hair. It’s naturally thick in the back, thinner on the sides (but still thick), and I’ve colored it regularly for 15+ years.

My biggest concern about my hair is my scalp. My hair and scalp do get buildup, and sometimes, my scalp gets dry and flaky.

My scalp health was at the forefront of my mind when I selected Vegamour products, but of course, I wanted that to support my hair simultaneously.

Let’s get into the products!

GRO Biotin Gummies

Taking a supplement to support your hair and scalp health is a good way to approach any issues from the inside out. Plus, if you’re like me, I don’t wash my hair daily, so this is a way to help my hair every day.

The GRO Biotin Gummies have biotin (for healthy hair, skin, and nails), along with vitamins A, B-5, C, E, 6 and 12, which support the body’s production of keratin and collagen.

I feel like taking collagen has become pretty trendy, but did you know keratin helps prevent hair breakage? Yep! And, just to note, these gummies are cute, strawberry-flavored pink hearts made with vegan, clean ingredients.

I took one gummy each morning; one container is enough for a month.

GRO Scalp Detoxifying Serum

The GRO Scalp Detoxifying Serum was the product I was most excited to try. I used this before washing my hair, and it’s the first scalp product I’ve ever tried that actually had an applicator made for the scalp!

I was able to apply it while in the shower, without a mirror, and without any issues. Even after one use, on days when my scalp was feeling itchy or irritated, this was soothing.

The serum is made with vegan silk protein, zinc PCA, Willowherb, baobab, and marula oils that work together to absorb excess oils, create a healthy scalp microbiome, and support the skin’s natural ability to maintain moisture.

This serum was easy to apply, soothing, and a great first step on wash day to target the scalp specifically. I love it!

GRO Revitalizing Shampoo and Conditioner

After using the serum, it’s time to wash! The GRO Revitalizing Shampoo and Conditioner works to cleanse, remove buildup, but also to strengthen and protect the scalp and hair.

This duo has a light, clean scent, which I enjoyed. While using this duo, I really focused on how I was applying the products. With the shampoo, I worked it into a lather in my hands first and then focused on applying it to my scalp and roots (as opposed to the ends of my hair).

After rinsing, I applied the conditioner mostly on the ends of my hair. This method of applying left my hair and scalp feeling squeaky clean without dryness.

One cool thing to note about this duo is that it features Karmatin, which is a vegan keratin alternative that helps protect your hair.

GRO Hair Serum

The GRO Hair Serum is the product that surprised me the most! I’ve always been weary of hair serums because my hair tends to really hold onto them, and it ends up looking greasy.

Well, the GRO Hair Serum is water-based, and it didn’t matter if I applied it while my hair was wet or dry; there’s no greasiness!

The serum contains plant-based ingredients, including turmeric (which improves the look of hair density), caffeine (which stimulates the scalp), a mung bean and red clover blend (which nourishes the scalp and hair), and biotin (which strengthens and fortifies the hair).

I kept this on my bathroom counter so I wouldn’t forget to use it daily, but it was such a great way to complete my hair routine, and I enjoyed using it.

After using this combination for weeks, my scalp felt moisturized and healthy in a way I don’t think I’ve ever experienced!

Using this line has given me so much relief; having tried other scalp-focused products before and only seeing temporary results made me wonder if there was no real solution to my scalp troubles, and now I’ve found something that truly works.

Have you tried any Vegamour products?
