A Review: Zulay Kitchen Handheld Milk Frother.

I’m really grateful to be writing to you all from a very, very cold Austin, Texas, and I still have electricity and running water! It’s a miracle πŸ™‚

Things got really cold and icy yesterday, but today was the day the folks running the electric grid said things might go dark. The day isn’t over yet, but I’m thankful that so far, things have been fine.

I have been meaning to share a small little gadget I bought right before Christmas and have been loving: the Zulay Kitchen handheld milk frother.

A dear friend invited me to her family Christmas Eve gathering and said they did a gift exchange and just to get consumable items that anyone would like.

So, I decided to put together a little kit with bags of coffee beans, hot cocoa mix, and a milk frother. Even if the recipient didn’t drink coffee or cocoa, I figured the frother could be used for anything — even just mixing a protein shake or a mixed drink!

So, I bought the Zulay Kitchen frother, and was so shocked by the low price that I bought two β€” one for my gift kit and one for myself.

I have an espresso machine with a built-in milk steamer, but the frother is different.

For one, the handheld frother doesn’t heat the milk up, but it whips it VERY fast, and creates a nice cold foam for daily coffee.

While the milk steamer does best with full-fat milk (I don’t typically use dairy, so I use oat milk), you can use pretty much anything with the frother!

I’ve been using it with my coffee creamer and it adds such a nice, light and fluffy texture to my coffee; I love it!

It’s battery-operated, so no need to charge it, and I just rinse it clean after I use it. I love that it comes with its own stand, which I keep right by my coffee pot.

It’s the perfect addition to your morning beverage β€” whatever that may be!
