It’s official now: the holiday season is upon us!
Since I created a list of fall beauty products, I knew I had to do one for the holiday season, and there are some good items here for yourself or for gifts!
Here are my top picks for seasonal beauty items:
CoverGirl x Kelsea Ballerini | Exhibitionist Liquid Glitter Eyeshadows
Country star Kelsea Ballerini launched her collaboration with CoverGirl, which is five shades of liquid glitter eyeshadow to give your holiday looks a shine!
The shadows come in five various shades of rose gold for day or night looks, and from the reviews, it looks like they’re comparable to the iconic Stila shadows for a fraction of the price.
Tree Hut Shea Sugar Scrubs | Seasonal Scents
The Tree Hut sugar scrubs are some of my favorite body scrubs (and they’re under $10 each). I have purchased so many of these I can’t keep count.
But, they launched their holiday collection and wow, it’s good! This is my fourth consecutive year buying the Candy Cane scrub, which got me hooked on these scrubs! I cannot explain my love for this one; it runs deep.
Aside from Candy Cane, there’s Sparkling Sugar (sweet, berries), Berry Bright (pomegranate, cranberry), Winter Wonder (eucalyptus, spearmint), and Marshmallow Lodge (bergamot, vanilla).
Sephora Collection | Seasonal Masks
I’m an Ulta gal, but there are several Sephora-brand items I love. I always keep my eye out for their seasonal goodies, and this year they released a Hot Cocoa face mask! I’ve used it, and it really does smell like hot cocoa — put this on with your favorite holiday movie and bam, instant coziness.
At the time of this writing, the Hot Cocoa mask is still available! The seasonal items always go fast, so grab one if you want it!
Elf x Kitsch Candy Cane Satin Heatless Curling Set
I recently wrote a review on the heatless curlers from Kitsch (read the review here), and when I saw the holiday version (a collab with “Elf”), I got so excited for anyone who asked for heatless curlers this year.
How cute would this look with holiday pajamas?! Plus, it’s the same great quality from Kitsch, and I think it’s fun enough to use all year long.
Hempz | Limited Edition Candy Cane Lane Herbal Lip Balm
I’m a sucker for peppermint lip balm, so when I saw Hempz’s Candy Cane Lane lippie, I purchased it immediately and love it!
It’s a great mix of vanilla and mint and leaves winter lips soft and smooth. The scent and flavor unlocked a memory for me of another mint balm I used in middle school!
Old Whaling Co | Seasonal Bath & Body Products
Old Whaling Co — a small shop in Charleston — is where I got my bath goodies this season and you won’t want to miss it.
Their Holiday Collection features two limited edition scents: Coastal Christmas and Sugar Plum Ferry. Coastal Christmas is an evergreen scent with notes of juniper, pine, and cedar. Sugar Plum Ferry is a sweet scent featuring sugared plums, sandalwood, and orchid to create a festive yet unexpected holiday scent.
These scents come in various products — I got a candle and a bath bomb in each scent! I think the Sugar Plum Ferry body butter would be fabulous!
too faced | Warm & Spicy: Hangover Pillow Balm Limited Edition Trio
A holiday lip is an easy way to make any outfit festive and Too Faced is delivering a lippie trio that will keep lips hydrated and plump, but ready for the season.
This Pillow Balm Trio has seasonal shades — Holiday Wine and Spiced Cider — but it also has the original balm, so even post-holiday you’ll be set.
I hope you enjoyed my holiday beauty picks — what are you using this season?
