Swatches: Lunar Beauty Moon Prism Blush Cheek palette.

I started watching season 1 of “Schitts Creek” for the first time yesterday and am almost finished with this season already! I’ve heard it gets better as it goes on, but I already think it’s so funny.

I have been going through my collection of palettes to put swatches here on the blog and when I came across this one, I couldn’t believe I hadn’t featured it here yet 🙂

It’s the Moon Prism Blush Cheek Palette from Lunar Beauty, which is Manny MUA’s makeup line.

Full disclosure: I love Manny!

But also, I am not someone who buys every single thing that comes out of his line. This is no offense to him, but his makeup aesthetic isn’t always for me. In the past, he’s put out eyeshadow palettes that had lots of bright colors, and while they look awesome, I just know I wouldn’t wear them.

So, when he showed this palette, I was so excited because it has some great shades and it looks like it would work for many different skin tones.

I bought it right when it came out — I also got some of his nude glosses that were released at the same time.

Swatches from bottom to top: Pink Moon, Soleil, Twilight, Stargaze, Spacey, Gravity.

The Moon Prism Blush Palette has six pans of blush. But, before we get into the blush itself, let’s talk packaging. Manny always focuses a lot on packaging and he does a great job.

This palette has shades of magenta, pink, coral, blue and purple and it has some embossed planets on the front with gold foil detail. It’s so pretty. The palette itself is cardboard, but it’s very thick and sturdy.

The inside of the palette there’s a huge mirror, which I always love. The blush pans are also pretty big — about 1.5 inches in diameter — this is perfect for a fluffly blush brush.

The six shades are: Pink Moon, Soleil, Twilight, Stargaze, Spacey and Gravity. This is the same order I swatched them on my arm (I used a primer before swatching them).

The Pink Moon is a true pinky blush, while the Soleil is a coral shimmer — so pretty! Twilight is a bit of a deeper coral that almost has a rust tone to it. Stargaze has more of a rosey-mauve tone.

Spacey is a deep mauve, almost a plum shade and gravity has brown undertones.

All of these shades are so pretty! I think I’ll be using Twilight and Stargaze the most, but I really do love all of them.

There is a big of kick-back, but the shades are so pigmented and pressed softly, so I don’t think it’s an issue. They are very blendable.

Which ones would you use the most? Is there a blush palette you’re using right now?
