Hey there!
Pre-pandemic, I worked with the University of Texas at Austin to switch up my traditional course, “Blogging for Beginners” and turn it into a Weekend Blogging Bootcamp.
We scheduled it and then COVID came… and we’re still going to do it, but it’ll just look a little different. Thank you, Zoom!
The course is this weekend, beginning Friday evening and ending on Sunday. It’s six hours of instruction and there will be some outside reading and assignments for those interested.
Here’s the official course description:
This is a boot camp perfect for bloggers who are getting started. Whether you’ve already begun building a blog or simply have an idea for one, this is a jumpstart to get the information you need to succeed. In this boot camp, you can expect to learn:
- How to create a content calendar specifically for your blog
- Targeted writing tips to improve your content
- Search Engine Optimization for blogging purposes
- Hands-on photo styling for your blog and social media
Plus, you’ll get to meet and mingle with other aspiring local bloggers, which is always an underestimated way to boost your blog!
Of course, there won’t be any “hands-on” activities or in-person mingling, but I have some solutions for all of these things!
I’m really excited to try this and meet a new batch of hopeful bloggers. If you’re interested in joining us, registration is still open.
Hope to see you there!
