Hey there! I hope you all are having a fantastic holiday — I am doing a little bit of work between now and the New Year, and I can’t stop my review roll because I have so many products to share.
I wanted to touch on one of my favorite products I treated myself to this year, and that’s the Capri Blue Volcano Candle.
If you’ve ever stepped into Anthropologie, you’ve smelled this candle and it smells SO GOOD.
“Volcano” is the name of the scent and it’s a little bit citrusy and a little sweet. It creates this balanced smell that’s very recognizable and one that can be burned all year long.
They have a bit of a cult following, and even though they are a little on the pricier side, I do think it’s worth it, if you’re a candle lover, of course.
I bought it over the summer and was a little skeptical at first, but once I got it home, I kept lifting the lid and smelling it. Once, I lit it… I was hooked. The more I burned it, I also realized that a 19-ounce candle lasts quite a while (even if you burn it all day every day) and the $30 price tag is really not a bad rate for a quality candle.
The Volcano scent comes in all different kinds of jars, colored containers, and sizes — which was confusing at first because I thought only the blue jar was this scent.
Capri Blue has a few other scents such as Paris (a sweet scent), Blue Jean (a clean linen scent), and Frosted Fireside (peppermint and cedar), among others. I’m definitely going to have to try these!
The only thing is… I really do love buying candles from Antique Candle Co. It’s a small, female-owned business and I like knowing what I’m supporting. The Capri Blue website doesn’t have any information about who owns the company or where the candles are made.
So… I’ll still buy from Antique Candle Co. more frequently, but I know a lot of people love Capri Blue and this scent, so I thought I’d throw in my review in case you’re on the fence about it… but if you catch a sale, I say go for it.
