A Review: Peter Thomas Roth Hyaluronic Cloud Hydra-Gel Eye Patches.

Hey there! I apologize for not posting more last week, but I was super slammed. In all honesty, I don’t think I have the time to be posting this today, but I have a list of things I’ve been wanting to post!

I was in San Francisco for work last week and did not expect it to hit me like a freaking ton of bricks. Any chance I got to rest — which was very little — I did and the blog just wasn’t going to happen. I also ditched two freelance projects and packed a book to read that I never opened.

When I got home Sunday, I went straight to bed and didn’t get up until this morning. And… I did not get Veteran’s Day off… ha! But anyway, hopefully I’ll be back on schedule for those of you who are regular readers (thank you).

So, I’ve been using this product for awhile now and am excited to report back. I’m talking about the Peter Thomas Roth Hyaluronic Cloud Hydra-Gel Eye Patches. I will start by saying these are $50 for 30 pair of eye patches, so if you use them daily, one container will last about a month.

In the grand scheme of things, they’re not ridiculously priced, but slapping down $50 for one product is not something I do often. I have tried other products from Peter Thomas Roth’s Water Drench line including their face wash and moisturizer, so I was confident I would like the eye patches. Here’s the scoop on the eye patches:

Revitalizing eye patches help hydrate, moisturize and instantly improve the look of fine lines, crow’s feet and under-eye darkness with a liquid cloud of pure water vapor drawn from the atmosphere.

Multiple sizes of Hyaluronic Acid can attract and retain up to 1,000 times their weight in water from moisture in the atmosphere to help lock in hydration. Ceramide NP, Collagen and Marshmallow Root Extract work to smooth and soften the look of fine lines. Caffeine helps de-puff the look of the eye area. Arnica helps diminish the appearance of dark circles.

I store these in my fridge so they’re nice and cold when I put them on. They stay in place really well — I put them on in the morning while I’m working and leave them on for around an hour until all of the serum has been absorbed. I hardly ever get enough sleep, so I have some obvious bags under my eyes and these really do help.

I read some of the reviews on Ulta and some people said they weren’t good for “under makeup”. I have definitely used these before applying makeup and haven’t had a problem, but you have to let the under-eye area dry completely.

I’ve used several single packs of different eye patches and these are the best ones I’ve tried so far. The only downside is, I probably wouldn’t travel with the jar… I prefer the individually-wrapped sets. But, that’s a minor inconvenience.

I’ll definitely be buying these again!
