A Review: Clarins Cryo-Flash Mask.

Earlier this summer, I had a gift card to Ulta (one of my favorite places!). My first thought was to restock things I needed, but… then I decided to treat myself.

After all, the gift card was a gift! So, I bought something I’d been eyeing for a bit: the Clarins Cryo-Flash Cream-Mask.

This is a gel-cream mask that creates an icy-cold feeling on the skin once it’s applied, and once you rinse it off, it gives the skin a brighter, tighter appearance.

For years, my morning routine has included using my frozen ice roller and applying cold under-eye patches from my fridge. I figured this cryo mask would be the perfect addition!

I’ve now used the mask about a dozen times, and my first thought? It’s insane how cooling it is!

It feels cooling while it’s on, and then even once you rinse, you feel that minty, cooling sensation for at least an hour. It’s incredible!

I typically put it on while I’m using my under-eye patches. You only have to leave the mask on for 10 minutes, but I keep it on as long as I can (before I have to sign into a meeting), which is sometimes an hour.

I don’t notice my skin looking “lifted” after using it (at least not yet), but it does look brighter and feels hydrated.

I love the cooling feeling (especially in the morning) and I do love that it doesn’t dry and get itchy like some masks do.

Generally speaking, I think there are a lot of cryo products out there to meet a trend, but they don’t necessarily do anything — this one is the real deal!

I’ll also say that any of the Clarins products I’ve been able to try have not left me disappointed. I am typically on a budget, but if something really works, it’s worth the splurge!

With this mask, you don’t have to use a thick layer, so it will last awhile. But, I am already planning to use some of my Ulta points to get my second jar.

According to Clarins, the more you use it, the better the effects (note to self: be consistent).

I am so glad I treated myself to this! Have you used this or any cryo products?
